Share your story.
Help make healthcare more human-centered.

This is a space for reflection and learning — not for blame or complaint.

We welcome stories from patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers who would like to to reflect on moments of care, missed care, or meaningful connection.

Every story is shared anonymously and read with care and respect.

Write about a healthcare experience that stayed with you —
something that was missed, something that mattered, or both.

Your story can help care providers understand what compassionate care looks like in practice.

  • Sharing your story can bring up strong feelings. Take your time. Share only what feels right for you, when you’re ready.

You’re always in control of what and how much you share. If it feels heavy, pause. You can always return when it feels right.

At this time, we are only able to accept story submissions from individuals located in Canada —
the community we call home.

This allows us to care for stories responsibly, given current data security, storage, and privacy requirements.

Ready to submit your story?

Start with a moment that stayed with you — what happened and how it felt for you. You don’t have to share everything; begin where it feels right.

To help us read and share stories with care, we ask that submissions be approximately 250–400 words (maximum 500 words).

Please avoid including names, specific locations, or other identifying details. If such details are included, we will remove them as part of our anonymization process.

This helps others find and connect with your story — but you can leave it blank if you prefer.

Used only to acknowledge your submission and follow up if needed.
